Cilantro/Coriander looks difficult to grow!

On 29th July i planted around 12 seeds of cilantro, just one popped up on 7th day and has shown little growth on the 9th day today.
About Cilantro:
It requires atleast 6"deep container and should not let it flower if we want a longer harvest. Need to grow atleast 2-3 plants at one time.

We bought mangos from Costco in this box...i thought this would be a good substitute for greenhouse.
Planted 2 seeds in each cell !!

9th day today and a very lean single sapling ....dnt know what happened with the rest of 11 seeds!

12 days old..... suddenly 5 new cilantro plants popped up...but the first one is not able to hold itself straight:

12 August'09: they were transplanted with Fennel plant in center. 2 more cilantro plants showed up yesterday, i have not transplanted them yet.

1September'09: they are growing but still do not look healthy.

14 Oct'09: i read on some site that more you pick cilantro the more it grows back. i had plucked few leaves and this pic is taken more than a week later ...it did grow back.
