Reddish look lovely!

I sowed reddish seeds on 29 July in a plastic tub (with holes drilled in bottom) and within 4 days tiny greens popped up. they look beautiful but i guess i made a mistake by planting them close together.... have thinned it a little but it is still crowded. Also i was not aware that the depth of the container should be more than 6"...the contained i have used is hardly 4" deep!! but i do not want to disturb the roots of reddish so lets see how it works!

5 days after sowing seeds..... used STA-GREEN potting mix!

9th day : they look leggy...m i doing something wrong??


14 days today.... there has been no growth since last update...the only difference is the plant stems are not able to hold themselves. the seed packet said that the reddish will be ready by 22 day...i.e 8 more days..i seriously doubt the claim.



1 Sep'09: the growth is very slow... i should have given it more sunlight. Have my doubts abt this plant.


End September.... i pulled them up & saw no sign od reddish development...failed this season.
